Guardians Win Fifth Straight, Move to 1.5 Games Ahead in AL Central

The Cleveland Guardians are now 1.5 games ahead in the AL Central after defeating the Chicago White Sox 6-3 on Tuesday night. The Guardians have now won five straight games and are 16-10 in their last 26 games.

The win gives the Guardians a 46-42 record, while the White Sox fall to 44-43. The Guardians are now 3.5 games ahead of the Chicago White Sox and 4.5 games ahead of the Minnesota Twins in the AL Central.

Bieber Dominant in Win

Shane Bieber pitched 6.1 innings, allowing just two runs on five hits while striking out nine batters. It was Bieber's second straight dominant start, as he has now allowed just two runs on eight hits over his last 13.1 innings pitched.

The Guardians offense was led by Jose Ramirez, who went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs. Amed Rosario also had two hits and two RBIs for the Guardians.

White Sox Drop Fourth Straight

The loss is the fourth straight for the White Sox, who have now fallen to 44-43 on the season. The White Sox are now 2.5 games behind the Guardians in the AL Central.

The White Sox offense was led by Yasmani Grandal, who went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs. Luis Robert also had two hits for the White Sox.
